Infowebco's Servers are housed in downtown Atlanta at the Internap facility,
which enjoys fully redundant connectivity and world-class
infrastructure. With state-of-the-art monitoring and security
systems, our facility provides the highest uptime possible by
diligently monitoring all power systems, HVAC, network
connectivity, fire control, and access technology.
Some features of our network include:
- Fully redundant Cisco network
- Hot failover at all layers
- Dual redundant feeds into our private suite
- HSRP inbound and BGP-4 outbound routing
Facility Power
Although utility companies do an outstanding
job of providing clean, reliable power, no one can predict
when disturbances caused by electrical storms, accidents, and
equipment failures may occur. To provide uninterrupted power
supply to our data center, Infowebco uses an
environmentally-friendly power supply system that incorporates
a steady stream of power from the local utility company and
back-up power using a state of the art constant power supply
(CPS) and diesel generators.
With the CPS system that
Infowebco
uses, there is no need for battery operated uninterruptible
power supply (UPS) units. Instead, our short term backup power
supply is completely generated from flywheel systems and then
power sustained using diesel generators for long-term backup
power. On-site fuel supplies can ensure power availability for
days at a time. Contracts with local fuel suppliers allow us
to provide power indefinitely.
Although we are confident that our regular power supply is
of the highest quality and availability on the market,
Infowebco
is well-equipped to deal with planned and unplanned power
interruptions and distortions. Not only do we constantly
monitor power quality coming into the data center, but we also
configure our intelligent power distribution units (PDUs) to
draw power from only active sources. As a result, Infowebco
ensures 100% consistent, continuous, and conditioned power to
our data center at all times. UPS Backup

configuration, N+2 redundancy
-
Independent UPS configuration provides the industry's
highest MTBF (mean time between failures)
Environmental
Studies show that electronic devices last much longer and
experience fewer component failures when kept at constant
temperature and humidity levels. At Infowebco, your servers and
equipment are secure from the effects of climate fluctuations
and heat emanating from equipment. With the use
of sophisticated environmental control systems, our data
center maintains a constant temperature that does not
fluctuate more than 3 ° F above or below an optimal target
room temperature of 68-72 ° F and a humidity level not to
exceed 55%. Our entire climate control system has the
capability to cool and move five million cubic feet of air per
minute.
-
5 chillers at 1,250 tons (n+1), electrical centrifugal
system
-
(2) 18-inch pipes to assist cooling (below floor)
-
500,000 gallons of water stored on site
-
Constant 68-72 ° F
-
2 water towers at 250,000 gallons each
-
218 humidity control devices
Fire Detection and Supression
In just a few minutes, heat and smoke can seriously damage
computing equipment. Our fire suppression system not only
prevents extensive fire damage, it virtually eliminates the
potential for collateral damage to delicate equipment from the
fire extinguishing agent. Multi-level alarms allow floor
attendants to investigate when the Very Early Smoke Detection
Apparatus (VESDA) system detects a smoke signature. The smoke
signature detection system constantly monitors the data center
for specific events and can pinpoint the physical location of
an event immediately upon detection. An FM200 fire
suppression system handles individual instances on the data
center floor. If this system can not maintain the fire, then
a separated pre-action pressurized pipe system, zoned to
release water only to the affected area, is triggered. Like
the rest of the data center design, the fire suppression
system has been designed with every contingency in mind.
